HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A 20-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 17 at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Monday, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP).
Jacob Krusen of Murrells Inlet collided with a northbound SUV while riding southbound.
Authorities said the 2024 Ford SUV was turning left onto Inlet Square Drive when it was struck in the side by Krusen’s 2023 KTM motorcycle.
Krusen was pronounced dead at the scene, while the SUV driver was uninjured.
The SCHP is currently investigating the incident.
