OSAKIS (WJON News) — A motorcycle crash involving a tractor left a 23-year-old man seriously injured on Monday afternoon near Osakis.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Kade Woods was attempting to pass a tractor driven by 22-year-old Bryce Sward when the tractor turned left into a driveway, leading to the collision.
Woods was ejected from the motorcycle and subsequently transported via Life Link III to St. Cloud Hospital. His injuries are serious but not life-threatening, and authorities noted that he was wearing a helmet, which likely mitigated potential head trauma.
Authorities reported there were no injuries to Sward, the tractor driver. No further details about the incident, including lane closures or ongoing investigations, have been released at this time.
