ROCKFORD, IL — A motorcycle crash on May 16 resulted in the death of 25-year-old Angus Maceachron of Rockford.
Rockford Police Department officers responded around 6:15 p.m. to Auburn Street and Harlem Boulevard, where Maceachron’s motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.
The pickup driver remained at the scene, according to authorities.
Maceachron was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead at 6:50 p.m.
Preliminary autopsy results indicate he suffered traumatic injuries in the incident, as confirmed by the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office.
No charges have been reported at this time.
