CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A 26-year-old man died Sunday in a motorcycle crash on Shaffer Avenue, according to Cincinnati police.
The accident occurred at approximately 12 p.m. in Westwood, involving a single vehicle, a red Yamaha motorcycle. The victim, identified as Tyrane Bibbs by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office, was traveling west when he was ejected from the motorcycle.
Bibbs succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash, authorities confirmed. Speeding and the absence of personal protective equipment are believed to be contributing factors, police stated.
The Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating. Witnesses are encouraged to contact the unit at 513-352-2514.
