A 28-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash early Tuesday morning on Wasilla Fishhook Road, according to Alaska State Troopers.
Troopers responded to the scene near Pamala Drive at approximately 1:50 a.m. Investigators reported that Colton Cline was riding a motorcycle northbound at a high rate of speed with an adult male passenger when he lost control while navigating a corner.
The motorcycle struck multiple guardrail supports, resulting in Cline being thrown from the vehicle. He sustained extensive injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital. The passenger was thrown clear and suffered minor injuries.
Authorities confirmed that both riders were wearing helmets at the time of the crash. While alcohol is not believed to be a factor, speed and road conditions are under investigation. The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details have been released.
