Gainesville, FL. – Three people were killed in a collision involving a motorcycle on Monday morning in Gainesville.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Newberry Road (SR 26) near 109th Street.
A car was entering Newberry Road from Northwest 109th Street when it was struck by a motorcycle. The impact caused the car to flip.
The 31-year-old Archer man riding the motorcycle was killed in the accident.
The two women in the car, a 59-year-old and a 90-year-old, both from Gainesville, were also killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
