39-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Lancaster County Accident, Coroner Confirms.

Motorcycle Collision in Upper Leacock Township Claims Life of Local Man

A motorcycle crash in Upper Leacock Township on March 31 resulted in the death of 39-year-old Joseph Kecki, according to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.

The incident occurred around 11:40 a.m. at the intersection of E Eby Road and Stumptown Road, involving two motorcycles traveling west. Kecki was operating one of the motorcycles at the time of the collision.

Emergency crews transported Kecki to Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:13 p.m. His cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt force trauma, with an accidental ruling, authorities said.

One other rider sustained injuries and was also transported to a local hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigation by East Lampeter Township Police.
