SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — A 58-year-old man died following a motorcycle accident on Wabash Avenue on Monday evening.
According to the Sangamon County Coroner, the crash involved a motorcycle and a car. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to injuries around 10:30 p.m. His identity will be released after family notification.
Authorities reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing. No further details about the circumstances of the crash or any additional injuries have been confirmed at this time.
