Lawrenceburg, KY (KROC-AM News)—A 61-year-old woman from Faribault, Minnesota, died in a motorcycle crash in Kentucky on Sunday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police reported that the incident occurred just before 4:00 p.m. approximately 35 miles west of Lexington. The victim has been identified as Carol Jean Olson of Faribault.
Authorities confirmed Olson was the sole person involved in the crash and died at the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate she lost control of her three-wheeled motorcycle while navigating a sharp curve, resulting in her being thrown from the vehicle and subsequently hitting a road sign.
The crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not reported any further updates regarding roadway conditions or potential lane closures. Emergency services were on site following the incident.
