Hanford, CA – At least one person was killed in a motorcycle crash on State Route 43 Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The collision occurred at approximately 4:47 p.m. on northbound State Route 43, just south of Lansing Avenue. CHP reports indicate it involved a black Dodge Ram pickup truck and a motorcycle, both of which sustained significant front-end damage.
Authorities confirmed that at least one fatality resulted from the crash. An elderly male passenger in the Dodge Ram was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency crews. Details on additional injuries or potential arrests remain unavailable.
Kings County fire personnel and other emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported. Tows for both vehicles were expedited as investigators worked at the site.
