RIEGELWOOD, N.C. (WECT) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a crash on NC-87 near John Riegel Road on Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 5:32 p.m. on February 19, closing the shoulder of the highway.
According to ADR Fire Rescue, the motorcyclist collided with the front bumper of a log truck as it turned into the International Paper Riegelwood Mill.
Authorities reported no life-threatening injuries at the scene.
Emergency responders transported the injured motorcyclist to Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
