A 55-year-old man from Salem, Arkansas, was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Highway 142, approximately 15 miles west of Thayer, at noon on Saturday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident involved a westbound 2009 Harley-Davidson that ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned, resulting in total damage to the motorcycle. Legacy Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.
The rider sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. No fatalities were reported, and authorities are investigating the crash.
