One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle on Saturday in Conway County.
The incident occurred on Highway 9 North near the Cypress Creek bridge around 2:41 p.m. According to authorities, both vehicles were traveling northbound when the motorcycle struck the rear of the pickup.
The motorcycle driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, sustained serious injuries and was transported by Med-Tech EMS to a designated area for a Survival Flight helicopter. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the crash.
Arkansas State Police and the Conway County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the accident. Roadway conditions and further details are still being assessed.
