SPOKANE, WA — On July 21, 2026, at approximately 6:57 p.m., a fatal motorcycle crash occurred on N. Milan Elk Road at E. Eloika Road.
Authorities reported that a motorcycle rider lost control while traveling northbound, crossing the centerline and exiting the roadway before colliding with a traffic sign. Witnesses estimated the motorcycle was traveling at approximately 90 mph prior to the crash.
Emergency responders from Spokane County Fire District 4 arrived on scene and initiated life-saving measures. The male rider, who was wearing a helmet but lacked additional protective gear, was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts to resuscitate him.
