Randy Scott Weigel, 63, of Dillsburg, died Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in a motorcycle accident.
Authorities confirmed the incident occurred when Weigel lost control of his motorcycle on local roads. Emergency responders arrived shortly after, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Weigel was born May 25, 1963, in Harrisburg, PA, to Patricia E. Berkheimer Weigel and the late Richard L. Weigel. He was a retired employee of R.F. Fager.
A member of Celebration Community Church in Dillsburg, Weigel participated in the church’s Men’s Ministry and enjoyed activities such as motorcycle riding, golfing, and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Maria A. Kreeger Weigel; three children, Dustin S. Weigel, Brianna N. Martin, and Taylor E. Myers; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Heath R. Weigel.
A viewing will be held July 22, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Funeral services are scheduled for July 23, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Celebration Community Church, 1048 S. Mountain Rd., Dillsburg.
