Motorcyclist Killed, Another Critically Injured in Kansas City Collision
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A motorcyclist died and another was critically injured after a collision involving two motorcycles early Sunday morning.
The Kansas City Police Department reported the incident occurred just before 3:45 a.m. on Northwest Interurban Road near Northwest 128th Street.
Authorities said a blue Harley-Davidson Ultra Glide and a silver Honda CR-V motorcycle were traveling north when the Honda failed to navigate a curve and collided with the Harley.
Both motorcycles were pushed off the road, resulting in both riders being thrown from their bikes. The rider of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Harley rider was transported to a local hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
Police noted that neither rider was wearing a helmet. The investigation is ongoing.
