Motorcyclist Killed in Hall County Collision with Pickup Truck

HALL COUNTY, GA — A 27-year-old motorcyclist died Tuesday morning following a collision with a pickup truck on Ga. 365/Cornelia Highway at White Sulphur Road.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to the incident at approximately 7 a.m. Steven Patrick Cullen, of Toccoa, was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver, Nathan Michael Meyer, 25, of Warner Robins, and his passenger sustained no injuries.

According to HCSO, the preliminary investigation indicated that Meyer was traveling northbound in a 2022 Dodge Ram when he attempted to turn left onto White Sulphur Road, failing to yield and colliding with Cullen’s southbound 2026 Honda CBR650 motorcycle.

Meyer was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree homicide by vehicle and failure to yield while turning left, both misdemeanors. He was later transported to Hall County Jail, where he posted a $16,830 bond and was released Tuesday night.

No lane closures were reported following the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
