Two Motorcyclists Killed in Murray County Crash
MURRAY COUNTY, GA — Two motorcyclists died in a collision on Smyrna Church Road on Wednesday, April 1, authorities said.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, 19-year-old Brayden Flood and 20-year-old Evan Ingle were struck when an oncoming driver failed to maintain their lane while negotiating a curve. Flood was pronounced dead at the scene, while Ingle later succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital.
Both riders were reported to be best friends. Their funerals are scheduled for Sunday, April 12.
Emergency responders were on the scene shortly after the incident, and lane closures were implemented as authorities conducted their investigation. The status of potential charges against the other driver remains unclear as the investigation continues.
