MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCSC) — A 42-year-old Bonneau man died in a motorcycle crash on South Live Oak Drive Wednesday morning.
Dennis Montgomery Sweatman succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash at an emergency room, according to Berkeley County Coroner Darnell Hartwell.
The incident occurred just before 10:30 a.m. when Sweatman was riding a 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was the sole occupant of the motorcycle at the time of the crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. No further details regarding lane closures or tows have been provided.
