CONCORD, NH — A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on East Derry Road in Derry on Friday, resulting in one death and serious injuries.
Authorities said Erin Hanlon, 56, of Hampstead, succumbed to her injuries after being transported to the Elliot Hospital. Her husband, Colin Hanlon, 57, was seriously injured in the crash.
The Derry Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene at approximately 2:41 p.m. The direction of travel and number of vehicles involved have not been confirmed.
Emergency crews provided medical aid, and the roadway was temporarily closed for investigation and cleanup. The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
