Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 21-Year-Old in Northeast Minneapolis
A 21-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash early Friday morning on Interstate 35W in northeast Minneapolis.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. when the motorcyclist was traveling north near Johnson Street. Authorities report that the motorcycle struck the left-side median guard rail.
The vehicle continued for a quarter of a mile before coming to rest on the right side of the roadway. The incident is currently under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
No other vehicles were involved, and there are no reported injuries to other motorists. Further details regarding the cause of the crash have not yet been released.
