Farouk Fatouh Dies in Huntington Beach Motorcycle Crash.

Collision Claims Life in Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (November 24, 2025) – A 25-year-old man died following a motorcycle and SUV collision on Talbert Avenue Monday afternoon, authorities said.

Farouk Fatouh, a resident of North Dakota, was riding a Honda motorcycle westbound on Talbert Avenue when he collided with a Toyota Highlander turning left from Brookshire Lane around 3:30 p.m., according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. The driver of the Highlander, a Bellflower resident, was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation, officials stated.

Motorcycle accidents, particularly involving left-turning vehicles, are common causes of fatal incidents. In 2023, 6,335 motorcyclists died in crashes across the U.S., representing 15% of all motor vehicle deaths, according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

Authorities have highlighted the risks faced by motorcyclists and the importance of vigilant driving. An independent investigation may be sought to protect the rights of the victim’s family, as stated by legal experts.

The family of Fatouh may be eligible for a wrongful death claim pending the investigation, which could cover damages for emotional distress and loss of companionship.
