WILKIN COUNTY, Minn. — A West Fargo man was hospitalized after being injured in a motorcycle crash found the next morning on Aug. 26.
Emergency responders were alerted to the incident at approximately 11 a.m. after receiving a 911 call regarding a motorcycle accident near 235th Street and 140th Avenue, close to the Minnesota-North Dakota state line.
Authorities identified the driver as 58-year-old Jon Brogren. Witnesses reported that the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. the previous evening when Brogren’s motorcycle went into a ditch.
Brogren was airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo with unspecified injuries. The Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office stated that alcohol did not appear to be a factor, indicating a possible mechanical failure as the cause of the crash.
The incident is under investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
