A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash north of Spanish Springs on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Ironwood and Amy Roads, according to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities reported that no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The identity of the deceased rider has not been released. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) is leading the investigation.
