Charlotte, N.C. – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday evening in Charlotte.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the accident happened around 8:54 p.m. in the 4200 block of South Boulevard, between Scaleybark Road and East Woodlawn Road.
A 36-year-old man was riding a black 2004 Ducati motorcycle south on South Boulevard when he crashed into a gray 2024 Jeep Compass which was making a left turn into a parking lot.
The motorcyclist was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
