LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A 22-year-old woman died Monday in a motorcycle collision on Interstate 630 in Little Rock.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 2:41 p.m. involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.
The motorcycle, operated by 34-year-old Mark Hudson, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The passenger, Haven Hughes, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the driver of the car as 46-year-old Chandria Stigall. She was taken to the 12th Street Substation for a urine sample for toxicology testing.
Accident Reconstruction Officers arrived to process the scene and gather evidence. Witnesses have been interviewed, but no charges have been filed at this time.
Emergency responders remained on the scene for several hours, leading to temporary lane closures. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Haven Hughes was a recent graduate of Henderson State University and had just begun her career at KARK News in August 2022.
