Motorcyclist Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash in South LA
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 30, 2024) — A motorcyclist was killed Monday night in a three-vehicle crash at Sepulveda Boulevard and Vermont Avenue.
The collision occurred around 11:46 p.m. on April 29, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Involved were a black BMW sedan, a dark-colored Audi sedan, and a black motorcycle.
CHP officials reported that the motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and landed in the middle lanes after colliding with the other vehicles. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash and will establish fault for the incident. No further details regarding injuries among the other drivers were available at this time.
Authorities have not reported any lane closures related to the crash, and tows were coordinated for the vehicles involved.
