Motorcyclist Killed in Phoenix Crash
PHOENIX — A 61-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision at 19th Avenue and Grandview Road on June 1.
According to Phoenix police, officers arrived at the scene shortly before 10 a.m. to find the motorcyclist pinned under a vehicle. Firefighters freed him, but he was pronounced dead on scene.
The victim was identified as Darren Rama. Authorities stated that the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
Preliminary investigations indicate the car failed to yield at a stop sign, making a left turn onto 19th Avenue, which led to the motorcycle collision.
The incident is currently under investigation.
