A motorcycle rider was hospitalized following a collision with a car in Plano on September 23 at approximately 4:15 p.m.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Legacy Drive and Windhaven Parkway. According to authorities, a motorcycle and a sedan were involved in the crash, resulting in the motorcycle rider sustaining serious injuries.
Emergency responders from the PLANO FIRE-RESCUE transported the injured rider to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was not reported to be injured.
Authorities closed the eastbound lanes of Windhaven Parkway for several hours to facilitate the accident investigation and cleanup efforts. The scene was cleared, and all lanes reopened by 7:30 p.m.
