Traffic Collision on Philips Highway Leaves One Injured
A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Philips Highway near Bartram Springs at approximately 2:41 p.m. on October 4.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the incident involved three vehicles and resulted in one person suffering non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders from the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department provided medical aid at the scene.
Authorities stated that both southbound lanes of Philips Highway were closed for the duration of the investigation and cleanup. Tows were necessary for all vehicles involved, and traffic was redirected around the area.
