Portland, CT – Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Collision with Car
A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries following a collision with a car in Portland, Connecticut, on October 11 at approximately 6:45 p.m.
Authorities reported that the incident occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Silver Street. Emergency responders, including the Portland Fire Department and Middlesex Hospital EMS, arrived on the scene to provide medical aid. The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The crash involved a single motorcycle and one passenger vehicle. As a result, Main Street was partially closed for several hours as investigators examined the scene and cleared the wreckage. The roadway reopened around 9:30 p.m.
