Albany Driver Arrested Following Fatal Motorcycle Crash, OSP Log Reports.

THURSDAY, JUNE 11

• 2:41 a.m. — A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 205 near Milwaukie left 25-year-old Sydney Rae Lewis of West Linn dead. According to the Oregon State Police (OSP), Lewis was driving a northbound Volkswagen Jetta when it veered off the road and struck a tree and a fence, resulting in her being pronounced deceased at the scene.

• 8:28 a.m. — A single-vehicle crash on Highway 201 south of Nyssa claimed the life of 35-year-old Alisha Nicole Chaney of Payette, Idaho. OSP said Chaney was driving a northbound Pontiac Vibe near Hyline Road when it left the roadway and rolled over after hitting an irrigation ditch. Chaney was pronounced deceased at the scene and is believed not to have been wearing a seatbelt.

SATURDAY, JUNE 13

• 1:38 a.m. — A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near La Grande killed 25-year-old Morgan Moyle Cluff of Payette, Idaho. According to OSP, Cluff was driving an eastbound Ford Ranger when the vehicle left the roadway, rolled multiple times, and ejected him. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, and authorities report he was not wearing a seatbelt.

• 10:01 p.m. — A vehicle-motorcycle crash on Highway 164 near Albany resulted in the death of 41-year-old Christopher Adam Brown of Albany. OSP reported that a westbound Dodge Ram, driven by 47-year-old Jason Richard Jones, collided with Brown’s southbound Honda motorcycle at the intersection of Scravel Hill Road. Brown was declared deceased at the scene. Jones was arrested for multiple charges, including DUI and manslaughter.

MONDAY, JUNE 15

• 3:53 p.m. — A three-vehicle crash on Highway 126 near McKenzie Bridge resulted in the death of 46-year-old John Michael Unrein of Springfield. OSP stated that Unrein’s westbound Mazda3 crossed the centerline and collided head-on with an eastbound Chevrolet Equinox, which then rolled over. Unrein was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the other drivers sustained minor injuries.

TUESDAY, JUNE 16

• 11:21 a.m. — A two-vehicle crash on Highway 39 near Henley killed 71-year-old Lenayah Priscilla King of Bonanza. Authorities reported that a northbound Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by King failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by a southbound Kia Sedona. King was pronounced deceased at the scene; the Kia’s driver and two juvenile passengers were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
