GLENVILLE — A 22-year-old Corinth man died Thursday in a motorcycle crash on Route 50, according to local police.
Maxwell David Jones was pronounced dead at the scene following a collision at 3:13 p.m., authorities reported.
Investigation revealed a car failed to yield while pulling out from Kingsbury Road, resulting in the motorcycle accident, Police Chief Stephen Janik said.
The driver of the car was visibly shaken, and preliminary assessments indicate he may not have seen Jones approaching, based on witness accounts and video evidence.
Authorities closed a section of Route 50 for several hours for accident reconstruction, reopening it around 7 p.m.
The incident is under ongoing investigation by local authorities.
