CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. — A motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 31-year-old Eldon woman on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 1:45 p.m.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the woman was riding a Kawasaki Ninja northbound on US-63 when she lost control near 12202 US-63. Her motorcycle veered off the left side of the road, struck a cable barrier, and resulted in her ejection from the vehicle.
Emergency responders pronounced the rider deceased at the scene. Her body has been transported to Houser-Millard Funeral Home.
The crash is under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. No additional information about injuries to other parties or vehicle involvement was provided. Authorities reported that the roadway was briefly affected by lane closures during the response.
