A 31-year-old woman from Eldon died Saturday afternoon following a motorcycle crash on Highway 63 in Callaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. on October 3 in the northbound lanes near 12202 Highway 63.
According to authorities, the woman was riding a 2025 Kawasaki Ninja when the motorcycle veered off the left side of the road and struck a cable barrier, ejecting her from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:11 p.m.
The rider was reported to have been wearing safety equipment at the time of the accident. The Kawasaki Ninja suffered total damage and was towed from the scene by Broadway Wrecker.
This fatality marks Troop F’s first traffic death in October and the 50th of 2026.
Trooper M.A. Minarik is investigating the crash, with assistance from Park Ranger S. Meinhardt and the Jefferson City Police Department.
