FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WFIE) – A 21-year-old Evansville native died early Saturday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash.
According to WRAL, the crash occurred at approximately 3 a.m. on Saturday. Corum was driving the motorcycle when the incident took place.
Another passenger on the motorcycle was transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to recover. No further details on injuries were immediately available.
Authorities confirmed that Jackson Corum enlisted in the Army during his final year of high school and was serving as a specialist at Fort Bragg.
Funeral arrangements for Corum are pending, pending further family announcements.
