Motorcyclist Killed in I-15 Collision Near Camino Del Norte
SAN DIEGO, CA — A motorcyclist died in a crash on Interstate 15 northbound near Camino Del Norte on October 3, 2023, around 2:41 p.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved a motorcycle and a sedan. Emergency personnel responded, and the motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two occupants from the sedan sustained minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital. The incident led to the closure of the two right lanes for approximately three hours as officers conducted an investigation.
Tow trucks were called to remove the vehicles from the scene. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
