Rider Dies in Volusia County Accident on Highway 92 at Old Daytona RoadÂ
Volusia County, Florida (August 10, 2023) – 58-year-old male motorcycle rider from Daytona Beach was killed after a crash Tuesday afternoon in Volusia County.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the incident was reported at around 12:15 p.m. on August 8 on Highway 92 at Old Daytona Road.
A Mercedes sedan operated by a 79-year-old DeLand man struck a Honda motorcycle for unknown reasons.
The rider was declared deceased at the crash site.
