CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A motorcycle crash Thursday evening resulted in the death of an active-duty soldier stationed at Fort Campbell.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:24 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, involving a motorcycle and an SUV, according to the Clarksville Police Department. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead during transport to Vanderbilt Clarksville.
Authorities have withheld the soldier’s name pending notification of next-of-kin. The SUV driver was extricated from their vehicle and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police reported.
