ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) – A Grottoes man died in a motorcycle crash on Oak Shade Road Wednesday morning, according to Virginia State Police.
At approximately 7:30 a.m., VSP responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident. Authorities said Cristian Fuentes Pizarro, 41, was traveling east at a high rate of speed when he lost control and veered off the road.
The motorcycle went through a fence, and Fuentes Pizarro was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to VSP.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released.
