Harrisburg Man Dies Following Motorcycle Crash Near Watertown
WATERTOWN, S.D. — A Harrisburg man died Friday, Nov. 7, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash two miles south of Watertown on Wednesday evening.
The victim’s identity has not been disclosed pending family notification. According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, the man was riding a 2012 Harley Davidson northbound on 29th Street SE when he lost control approaching the intersection with Meadow Lake Road.
Emergency responders transported the man to Prairie Lakes Hospital with life-threatening injuries before transferring him to a Sioux Falls facility, where he succumbed to those injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident. Preliminary details are subject to change as the investigation continues.
