Yungblud Suffers Leg Injury in Motorbike Accident, Plans to Continue Tour
STURGIS, SD — Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, confirmed he broke his leg in a minor motorbike accident at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on August 9.
According to a representative, the artist sustained the injury while riding dirt bikes during the rally festivities. He shared images on social media of himself on crutches with his leg bandaged, stating, “Leg fucked. Still giggin. Still standin (sort of).”
Despite the injury, Yungblud announced plans to perform at upcoming festivals in Belgium and Portugal this week, stating, “It’s gonna be fucking mad.”
Emergency services were not required at the time of the incident. Witnesses reported that Yungblud received an injection to manage pain before continuing his performance at Sturgis.
The artist is currently on tour in support of his double album, Idols, with the second part released earlier this year. Prior to the accident, he had completed a series of North American and European dates, including a recent performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago.
Yungblud is committed to remaining active on stage despite his injury, emphasizing the importance of his performances to fans. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is not currently underway.
