Huntingdon County man ejected from motorcycle in collision with deer.

HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. — A man sustained serious injuries after being thrown from his motorcycle due to a collision with a deer on Friday night.

The crash occurred at approximately 9 p.m. on State Route 913 in Wood Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The motorcycle rider was traveling east when a deer entered the roadway, leading to the impact.

Authorities reported that the man was ejected, and both he and the motorcycle traveled nearly 350 feet from the point of collision. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Emergency responders transported the man via helicopter to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, where he has been admitted to the ICU.

The incident is under investigation, and police issued a citation to the driver for operating without a license. Lane closures were implemented during the response.
