Fatal Motorcycle Crash Near Summit Mall Claims Life of 25-Year-Old
Sparks, NV — A motorcycle crash on South Virginia Street on September 24 resulted in the death of 25-year-old Eliseo Magdaleno.
The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division responded to the collision at approximately 8:00 p.m. Authorities reported that a 2024 Kawasaki Ninja, traveling southbound, collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, which was turning left from the northbound center lane. As a result of the impact, Magdaleno was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Linda Pease, the driver of the Malibu, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and booked into Washoe County Jail.
According to the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, Magdaleno died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Southbound lanes of South Virginia Street were closed for the investigation, with no estimated time for reopening. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
