Two vehicles collided on US-131 northbound near the 68th Street exit, resulting in multiple injuries and road closures.
Emergency responders, including the Michigan State Police and local fire departments, arrived on the scene at approximately 3:15 p.m. Authorities reported that one vehicle overturned, while the other sustained significant front-end damage. At least three individuals were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
US-131 was closed to traffic in both directions for nearly two hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage and conduct an investigation. The Michigan Department of Transportation advised drivers to seek alternate routes during the closure.
