Cheyenne Police report a 24-year-old Cheyenne man succumbed to injuries from a motorcycle accident on Dell Range Avenue on December 22.
According to CPD spokeswoman Alex Farkas, the incident occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. near King Soopers, located at 3702 Dell Range Boulevard.
The victim’s identity is pending release by the Laramie County Coroner’s Office, which will also notify next of kin.
Farkas stated that preliminary details indicate the crash involved a van making a left turn into the King Soopers parking lot, entering the path of an oncoming motorcycle. The motorcyclist lost control while attempting to brake, resulting in a collision. Speed is being investigated as a potential factor.
The Cheyenne Police Department’s Major Crash Unit has assumed the investigation, focusing on the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
