ALBANY, N.H. —
A motorcycle crash on Route 16 claimed the life of a man Saturday evening.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. just north of Piper Trail.
Authorities identified the deceased as 34-year-old Daniel Jennings of Tamworth. He reportedly lost control of his motorcycle, crossing the center lane and colliding head-on with another vehicle.
Jennings was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Route 16 was closed for an extended period but has since reopened. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, authorities said.
