Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash in Harlem, According to Police.

HARLEM, NY — A 56-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash involving an SUV early Monday morning in Harlem, according to NYPD officials.

The incident occurred at 1:18 a.m. on October 17 at Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard and West 139th Street, authorities said.

Investigators reported that the victim was riding a 2024 Surron electric motorcycle northbound on the boulevard when he collided with a 2021 Toyota Highlander traveling west on 139th Street.

The collision resulted in severe head and body injuries for the motorcyclist, who was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem and later pronounced dead, authorities confirmed.

The driver of the SUV, a 59-year-old man, remained at the scene and reported no injuries. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, according to authorities.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification, police said.
