Fatal Crash on Springfield Highway Claims Life of Pedestrian
SPRINGFIELD, TN — A pedestrian was struck and killed on Springfield Highway on Saturday, October 17, at approximately 6:15 p.m.
Authorities said the incident involved one vehicle, a sedan, that was traveling southbound when it hit the pedestrian who was crossing the street. Emergency responders from the Springfield Fire Department arrived on the scene, where they confirmed the pedestrian, a 34-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
