Man Killed in Motorcycle-Truck Collision in Loyd Star

A 57-year-old man died Wednesday evening in a motorcycle and pickup truck crash on Jackson-Liberty Drive in Loyd Star.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at 7:50 p.m. According to Sheriff Steve Rushing, a 2007 Toyota Tacoma was traveling north while the motorcycle was heading south when they collided.
The motorcycle rider, identified as William Troy Walker, was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Blake Wallace. The truck driver suffered no injuries.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
